Fire Investigation
Dr. Pisani is a former NYC Fire Investigator and a certified Fire investigator. He will conduct a fire scene investigation and seek to determine the origin, cause and responsibility of the fire using the standard of care in the field of fire investigation as articulated in "NFPA 921 : Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations." A report will be written upon request.
Fire Analysis
When the fire scene is no longer available, a fire analysis, using all available documentation of the fire incident, is conducted to determine the cause and responsibility of the fire using the Standard of Care in the field of fire investigation as articulated in "NFPA 921 : Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations". Dr. Pisani also offers litigation support (e.g., writing cross examination questions for the opposing expert).
Peer Review Analysis
Pisani Holds a Ph.D. and is a tenured professor. A peer review analysis of the work done by other fire investigators is intended to determine if their work comported to the Standard of Care ("NFPA 921 : Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations") and whether it would withstand a "Frye" or "Daubert" Challenge.
Expert Witness Testimony
Qualified Expert Witness: When requested, fire expert witness testimony at a trial and testimony at a deposition will be provided.
